Markus Gaebel
Markus has an extensive experience in the squash industry since 1979, including roles in PR, Bundesliga League Management, and organizing PSA tournaments. He has been pivotal in selling squash courts internationally, notably with ASB and later CourtTech. Markus's journey spans over three decades, selling nearly 3000 courts in 70 countries. He highlights the challenges and potential of squash, emphasizing the role of the Squash Facilities in promoting the sport's economic viability.
Management
Conny Hasselbach
Conny is co-founder of the highly successful Kaifu Lodge in Hamburg, where he was General Manager for 36 years. He holds degrees in Business Administration, Sports and German. He was German squash champion in 1979/80 and was Manager of the German junior and senior teams. Conny was author of the squash book, 'Training, Technique, Tactics' published by Rowohlt and translated into Dutch, which sold 75,000 copies.
Sports Science Advisor
Dr. Andreas Franke-Thiele
Andreas starting playing squash as a schoolboy at a small, mono-sport facility in Hamburg-Bramfeld. Since then, squash has always been part of his life, as a sports teacher at the Kaifu-Lodge and as a racquet sports lecturer at the University of Hamburg. As part of his PhD thesis, Andreas studied the development of sports culture in Germany in Professor Naul's (Essen) doctoral group. Andreas has worked at the European Media and Business Academy (EMBA) as an accredited university lecturer in the field of fitness training and event management. In training theory, he has concentrated on coach training and currently works as a sports science advisor and department head for athletics and fitness at the Academy for Sports, Health and Nutrition (ASGE).

Diego is an international business executive who harbors a deep passion for Squash. While he is an inconsistent low-level player, his fervor for the sport transcends the court. Diego's dedication has led him to engage with Squash federations worldwide, leveraging his unique ability to bridge best practices and connect influential figures across continents. His efforts are driven by a singular goal: to enhance participation and broaden Squash's appeal to a more extensive audience. Diego offers invaluable insights and a local perspective on Squash's landscape in Latin America.

Mike Dale
Mike writes our case studies and is a lifelong squash player and experienced sports journalist. He is Head of Content and Communications for the European Squash Federation and also writes for Squash Player magazine and Squash Mad. He was Squash Specialist for the media team at the 2022 Commonwealth Games. He is also editor of ThePadelPaper.com and Pickleball52.com and is Content and Communications Manager for the UK charity Panathlon.
Development
Bradley Hindle
Bradley has been Head Coach at the extraordinarily successful Daisy Hill Squash & Racquet club in Brisbane, Australia since 2018. As a player, he won seven PSA Tour titles and reached the top 60 in the world rankings.
As a coach, he has worked internationally in high-profile roles. He has been Australia National Junior Coach, Head Coach and player for Malta at three Commonwealth Games and worked in Russia, USA, Israel and around Europe.

Paul Selby
Paul is Director of Coaching at Off the Wall Squash in Essex, England. In a coaching career spanning nearly 30 years, he has coached national junior and senior champions and world top 10 players (including his son Daryl). He has been a county coach, East of England Regional Coach, a coach educator in South Africa, player liaison and sponsorship scout for Head, coach mentor and tutor for England Squash and Assistant National Junior Coach in Norway.
